I’d like to recommend Lady Macbeth’s Daughter by Lisa Klein.
1. I enjoy retellings of popular or established stories, especially from the perspective of a female character. In that regard, Lady Macbeth’s Daughter does not disappoint.
2. Review at Opinionated? Me? pretty much sums up how I felt about the story. And The Dreamer Reader has a similar take, sure, I agree about the ending but I guess I’m more okay with open-endings than others.
3. Albia is a great character.
I am glad I picked this up in hardback because it looks so wonderful on my bookshelf. The cover is beautiful.
