Nano LotD 10 – Three Dimensions of Character

Today’s link is Katie Ganshert’s Three Dimensions of Character, with credit to Larry Brooks since she’s discussing material from his book Story Engineering.

I probably won’t make myself lists like these, but it’s definitely something to think about. I love the distinction between the layers of character, the way we get to know them. If you’ve seen episodes of Firefly or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you’ll see what I’m talking about (Joss Whedon is a master at character development).

My obsession with Firefly is so great that I can’t even bring it up without nerding out. So here’s a picture of Kaylee. Enjoy.
